Man Survived Being Stabbed in the Head
Amazing X-Ray show the knife sticking out if his head
This amazing X-ray shows how a man survived being stabbed in the skull with a five-inch knife.
The 38 year old dad Wen Wen walked into a hospital casualty room in Xi'an, central China, with the entire blade buried in his head and just the handle sticking out.
One ER nurse fainted as Wen walked up to reception at the Jiaotong University clinic with the hilt poking out of his head and casually answered questions about his injury.
The razor sharp blade sunk into Wen's head above his right ear, down into the nasal cavity and finally emerged into his mouth.
Astonishingly it missed several major arteries, blood vessels and nerves.
"He's incredibly lucky. He could walk and talk perfectly and he will make a full recovery. One or two centimetres in another direction, though, and he would be dead," said one medic.
Wen told doctors he'd been stabbed by his 76-year-old father who has now fled the family home.
"I was cleaning up the house when my father attacked me and did this to me with just one strike of the knife.
"He's old but sane and rational and I've no idea why he did it. I'm worried that he might think he's in trouble now and won't come back to the family," he said

High Society, or a Donkey?
Look at those shoulder pads! Wait a second, those aren't shoulder pads! They're donkey's ears! Which leads me to my next question my fellow ambigious optcial illusion lovers. Is this guy a member of high society, or is he just the other word for Donkey?
Nicely done, this optical illusion painting has been around for quite awhile.
Inverted American Flag Illusion
You have a pretty good idea of what is going to happen in this illusion, but it is pretty cool, regardless. Stare at the center of the flag for at least 20 second - even longer to enhance the effect - and then look at the white area of your computer screen, a light colored wall, or a white peice of paper.
Now try this - try it again, but this time don't stare at the center. Move your eyes over to the right or left. Then, when you are looking at the after image of the flag, as your eyes try to focus on it, you'll see that they can't, and the flag will continue to slide around in your vision. As you may have guessed, this is because the image is burned into a certain place on your eye, and as you naturally will try to focus on the center and get it to stop moving, it will move around even more.
You've probably seen something similiar when you look at a bright light or even the sun.
I realize that not everyone who visits this site is from America, so I do plan to add a few more countries' flags in the futre. Pretty cool American Flag optcial illusion, isn't it?
This is a perfect optical illusion for kids and adults!

Love Meter in Illusion
Are you loved? I hope so. But you better try this test to find out. Just stare at the "You're cool" in the middle for about a minute, and see if the hearts start to disappear. Perfect for Valentines day. Send this on to your honey, but only if you're truly in love. Remember to stare for awhile, because the pink hearts won't disappear if you don't stare for awhile. Show your commitment and prove you're in love! Take the love quiz!
Well, are you truly loved? This love test is the only way to find out! Now get out there and ask that girl or guy to be your valentine! Sure there are other love testers out there, but this one is certainly the best love test, isn't it? It's easy, and anyone can do it! Now go buy some flowers and be romantic
before your love disappears!

Lady Looks at You.
Keep staring. This is one scary optical illusion. Keep looking, it might take up to a minute, but it'll look like she's opened her ghoulish eyes and is staring right at your soul!
Cool Na !

Shark on the Bus
Hey! Did this guy just get eaten by a shark?
This bus was painted with an ad for the National Geographic Channel's "Built for the kill" television program. Here you can see that the artist used the doors to their advantage, so it looks like the shark opens it's mouth to gobble up the surfer dude.
Wouldn't it be fun to have one of these scary shark busses driving around your city! It would make a great party bus
too, I assume!
We've seen more and more busses which are "wrapped" with the special material that lets light through, so that passengers can see out through the window areas that look painted. It also adds a bit of privacy to the bus ride for chartered busses. Also, by having the advertising on the side of the bus, it's a smart business move that helps keep bus fares down by supplementing the income of the bus companies, which are often funded by the city, so it keeps your taxes down! Bottom line - go get eaten up by a shark if you have the chance!

Is this just a Watermelon or a Real Face?
So you're at your friends party, and they happen to have a table of assorted snacks
. As you walk up to the table of treats, you jump back in surprise, someone is looking at you from within the watermelon !
This isn't exactly a watermelon recipe
, however if you're having a party and serving it, why not have the artist in your group carve out your watermelon like this. Send us a pic and we'll post it to the site.
While we're on the subject... Are you curious if the watermelon is a fruit or a vegetable? Go ahead take your guess now before you read on because we are about to tell you! It is the fruit of a plant that was originally native to the southern part of Africa. However, the answer isn't definitive, because the dictionary defines a vegetable as "anything made or obtained from plants". But we're going to go with FRUIT.
It's amazing what people will do with food. One time my brother ate an entire watermelon in one sitting. It may have been a small one, but it still made him sick!
Watermelon Face Pretty Cool !
Classic Optical Illusion in Books
This picture is another one we created specficially for the site, so it's yet another illusion that you won't find anywhere else. This uses a classic type of optical illusion, similar to the devil's pitchfork, or the impossible columns. What appears to be a stack of four books, is actually not what it seems at all. It's an impossible illusion, made from an impossible shape!
The Illuion book just blends into the background and sort of vanishes. In addition, if you look at the left side, it appears that there are really only two books Science and History. Yet if you read the spide of the books, you'll see that Biology, Science, Illusion, and History all appear. All in all, its quite the oddity, but most important, it's a fun eye trick! And just in case you're wondering, our favorite subject is Illusion!
